Missing Manistee teen found safe.

MANISTEE TOWNSHIP — Garett Sheaks, the 16-year-old Manistee teenager who has been missing since Monday, April 2, was found Friday night, safe, according to Manistee County Sheriff John O’Hagan. O’Hagan sent a short email to the media reporting that Sheaks had been found but did not comment any further.
Law enforcement personnel were dispatched to the Orchard Beach State Park shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, April 6, to check out a campsite. The dispatcher stated on the radio that in was in relation to the Sheaks case.
Garrett is a junior at Manistee High School.
